Shortcut Keys

This page lists the default shortcut keys in TablePlus for macOS, grouped by where you use them.1 Most of them are also shown next to their commands in the menu bar.

You can change some shortcuts in Preferences > Keymap: select next/previous pane, tab, and workspace, show table data/structure, toggle line/block comment, increase/decrease font size, and run current/all queries. See Keymap.

⌘ + ⌥ + F Find and replace
⌘ + G Find next
⌘ + Shift + G Find previous
⌘ + Shift + S Save the SQL to a file
Esc Show autocomplete suggestions, or hide them
⌃ + N / ⌃ + P Select the next / previous suggestion
Return or Tab Accept the selected suggestion2

When the query editor isn't focused, ⌘ + Return opens a new SQL query editor tab, like ⌘ + E.

Multiple carets

⌘ + Click Add or remove a caret
⌥ + Drag Select a rectangular block of text
⌃ + Shift + ↑ Add a caret on the line above
⌃ + Shift + ↓ Add a caret on the line below
⌘ + D Select the next occurrence of the current word
⌘ + ⌃ + G Select all occurrences of the current word
Esc Go back to a single caret
